Mobile Klinik Professional Smartphone Repair reports that it has achieved its fiscal year-end goal of 80 locations after it completed the acquisition of the eight-unit fonelab smartphone repair, sales and accessories chain in Ontario. The acquisition of fonelab by Mobile Klinik closed on January 15, 2020. The eight locations, in CF Fairview Mall in Toronto, Scarborough Town Centre in Scarborough, Oshawa Centre in Oshawa, Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, CF Lime Ridge in Hamilton, CF Fairview Park in Kitchener, Conestoga Mall in Waterloo and in CF Masonville Place in London, will be converted to the Mobile Klinik brand in the first quarter of 2020. In addition to the repair services, the six-year old fonelab chain also featured certified pre-owned phone sales as well as an assortment of branded and private-label smartphone accessories. Fonelab is an authorized repair service provider for Samsung, LG and Huawei smartphones and tablets. “We have a clear vision to provide Canadians with much-needed, professional, trusted smartphone and tablet repair and care services, and fonelab is an excellent fit with that vision. Growth plans focus on in-line and kiosk sites with convenient access in malls and mixed-use projects. The size required ranges from about 350 square feet to over 1000 square feet.
