How to Prepare Your Device For Repair

Here are some steps you’d need to complete to prepare your device for repair, we recommend that you complete these steps before visiting ourMobile Klinik Store. Our Store reps can also help you with this process.

Remove all device accessories (ex: cases, memory cards)

Prior to submitting your device for repair, enable the Repair Mode or Maintenance Mode if available. For specific instructions, visit your device’s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) website.

For warranty or Protection Bundle + claims, please ensure you bring any relevant accessories and valid proof of purchase.

How to Prepare Your Device For Trade-In

We recommend that you complete the following steps to make sure your device is ready to be traded-in at a store.

Back up your device data.

Remove device pins, passcodes, digital wallet/ payment methods, and sign out of accounts (ex: Google Factory Reset Protection, Find My iPhone).

Transfer eSIM or physical SIM card to a new device (if applicable).

Remove all device accessories (ex: cases, screen protectors, memory cards).
